These are words used to describe the various states of diamond jewelry. More and more brides and grooms as well as people who like to wear jewelry in general are turning to titanium as their metal of choice. Especially if you are looking for a ring to symbolize eternity, you cannot go wrong with titanium.
Explanation of Cut, Color and Clarity of This Diamond
Cut Quality The ideal cut diamond is designed to reflect a maximum amount of light through the crown. When a diamond is ideally cut, light rays from all sides are bent towards the center of the stone and are reflected back through the top in a blaze of light. Such diamonds are perceived as most brilliant and fiery, thus making this the most desirable cut.
Color In the near colorless category H color grade is the second best. Most H color diamonds have a very light yellow or gray tint that may be more noticeable when the diamond is placed on a white surface. Diamonds with H color grade appear white and are great values because they are more plentiful and as a result less expensive.
Clarity VS2 Clarity diamonds are very slightly included grade two. VS2 diamonds have minor inclusions that are visible at 10x magnification. They are less expensive than the VS1 clarity grade because they exhibit slightly more inclusions. VS2 clarity diamonds make excellent choices for jewelry because the naked eye will not be able to detect any inclusions.
