Clarity does not actually mean free from flaws since original diamonds have scratches or inclusions that may seemingly affect the beauty of the gem, but they are often not clearly seen by the naked eye unless it is closely inspected. Costume jewelry, on the other hand, is made up of less valuable metals like glass, wood, ivory and plastic. The most common form of body jewelry includes necklaces, bracelets, rings, pins, earrings, hair ornaments, and much more.
Explanation of Cut, Color and Clarity of This Diamond
Cut Quality Ideal cut refers to the angles and proportions of a diamond that satisfy very precise mathematical formulas. The result is that the the ideal cut diamond internally reflects most light from one mirror-like facet to another and disperse and reflect it through the top of the stone. This results in a display of brilliance and fire, thereby placing ideal-cut diamonds higher on the quality pyramid than deep or shallow-cut diamonds.
Color An E color diamond is extremely rare and slightly less expensive than a D but is so similar that most people won’t be able to tell the difference. You pay a serious premium for an E color diamond. Diamonds of this color grade will appear colorless even when observed face down.
Clarity VS1 diamonds have very small inclusions. Usually an experienced grader does not find any internal faults, but does not have great difficulties to see the inclusions when he moves the diamond a little from side to side. Typical inclusions of this group are small, light clouds or small light cracks on the girdle.
