In fancy jewelry, diamonds are showcased in a collection of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings. If the earring is large, or long and it's suspended from a thin, non adjustable clip, then it's likely to cut into your ears after an hour or two of wear. If the earring is large, the clip in the back of the earring should be substantial to hold it in place without pinching.
Explanation of Cut, Color and Clarity of This Diamond
Cut Quality Diamonds with good cut still have very good proportions and will reflect large percentage of incoming light. Good cut diamonds still have excellent brilliance and fire. This grade represents an excellent balance between quality and price.
Color An E color diamond is extremely rare and slightly less expensive than a D but is so similar that most people won’t be able to tell the difference. You pay a serious premium for an E color diamond. Diamonds of this color grade will appear colorless even when observed face down.
Clarity VS1 diamonds have very small inclusions. Usually an experienced grader does not find any internal faults, but does not have great difficulties to see the inclusions when he moves the diamond a little from side to side. Typical inclusions of this group are small, light clouds or small light cracks on the girdle.
