Remember that the main goal when shaping a diamond is to maximize brilliance in the final version. Man made materials such as acrylics and plastics also lend themselves very well to the manufacture of affordable, colourful jewelry and in the shops you can see many examples of wonderful, bright and modern fun items, to be worn on any occasion as the mood takes. Whilst most of us choose to spend a little extra on that special piece of jewelry such as our wedding rings, we now have an endless choice of less expensive everyday jewelry which we can change to suit our mood or match our outfit.
Explanation of Cut, Color and Clarity of This Diamond
Cut Quality Cut quality is calculated based on simplified formulas that take into account diamond proportions, depth and table. If some of this information is not available we are unable to estimate the quality of the diamond's cut.
Color An E color diamond is extremely rare and slightly less expensive than a D but is so similar that most people won’t be able to tell the difference. You pay a serious premium for an E color diamond. Diamonds of this color grade will appear colorless even when observed face down.
Clarity SI1 clarity diamonds are slightly included. SI1 diamonds have some inclusions visible under 10x magnification but not easily visible to the naked eye. A diamond with this grade of clarity is an excellent choice for someone on a limited budget.
