Doreen already had a collection of diamond jewelry glitzy enough to make any woman envious. To save cost, some jewelry is made by stamping and cutting the needed shapes out from a large sheet of silver and than bend it into the desired shapes. On the other hand, a more traditional way of producing sterling silver jewelry is to cast the metal out of a mold, which is more labor intensive and hence more costly due to the polishing and filing required afterwards.
Explanation of Cut, Color and Clarity of This Diamond
Cut Quality Diamonds cut to ideal proportions are made to reflect the most amount of light. This results in a display of brilliance and fire, thereby placing ideal-cut diamonds higher on the quality pyramid than deep or shallow-cut diamonds. Ideal cut diamonds have most intense brilliance of all diamond cuts.
Color Diamonds of E color are virtually colorless. Only less than 0.7% of natural diamonds have this color. Diamonds of this color grade will appear colorless even when observed face down against a flat white background.
Clarity VS2 Clarity diamonds are very slightly included grade two. VS2 diamonds have minor inclusions that are visible at 10x magnification. They are less expensive than the VS1 clarity grade because they exhibit slightly more inclusions. VS2 clarity diamonds make excellent choices for jewelry because the naked eye will not be able to detect any inclusions.
