There is the Ashoka diamond that requires a raw stone of at least three carats and the final diamond has elongated ends. Pearl embellishments impart a sense of elegance, while multicolored vintage crystals or flashy glass beads make threader earrings perfect for casual wear. Young celebrities, or those counting themselves as members of the X and Y generations, are ardent wearers of this type of ear fashion.
Explanation of Cut, Color and Clarity of This Diamond
Cut Quality Diamonds of premium cut are almost as good as ideal. While nature determines the color and clarity of a stone, diamond cut is dependent solely upon the skill of the cutter. Premium cut diamonds may be close to the ideal cut proportions and look just identical. Most people cannot distinguish between the two. However, there is a slight difference in quality and reduction in price over ideal cut diamonds.
Color F color diamonds are close to colorless. F color grade is rare and only surpassed by colors D and E. The naked eye will not detect any presence of color. For perfectionists, look for diamonds with low fluorescence.
Clarity SI1 clarity diamonds are slightly included. SI1 diamonds have some inclusions visible under 10x magnification but not easily visible to the naked eye. A diamond with this grade of clarity is an excellent choice for someone on a limited budget.
