We can make diamonds using the Earth's inner forces, extreme pressure and heat. In the jewelry store a moissanite dealer will always show the stones under a pink tinged light, as this tends to cancel out the fluorescence. Many people say they loved their moissanite ring until they got it into the sunlight.
Explanation of Cut, Color and Clarity of This Diamond
Cut Quality Diamonds with good cut still have very good proportions and will reflect large percentage of incoming light. Good cut diamonds still have excellent brilliance and fire. This grade represents an excellent balance between quality and price.
Color Slight presence of color may be detected in F color graded diamonds by an expert gemologist. The diamonds of this grade are considered colorless. Great choice for the purist. Look for a fluorescence rating of faint, inert, none, or negligible.
Clarity Diamonds of VS2 clarity have very small inclusions grade two. Inclusions VS2 diamonds are somewhat easy for a skilled grader to locate under 10x magnification. Diamonds that are graded VS in clarity are still very impressive looking diamonds under a microscope. Of course nothing is visible at all to the human eye. Such diamonds have a great balance between good clarity and exceptional price.
